Belio: FODMAP Scanner (also referred to as "Belio", "we", "us" or "our") is provided by Haukaas AS. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the mobile application, our website, and related services (collectively, the "Service").
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Service.
If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to accept these Terms on its behalf. In that case, "you" and "your" will also refer to that organization.

You must ensure that any account information you provide is accurate, complete, and kept up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login details and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

Information shown in the app may be based on data we collect, information provided by third parties (such as manufacturers or data providers), and user-contributed content. We do not guarantee that any information is accurate, complete, up to date, or appropriate for your individual needs. Product recipes and ingredients can change at any time, and not all products are covered.
The Service is for informational and educational purposes only.
The Service does not provide medical, nutritional, or dietary advice and is not a substitute for professional medical care, diagnosis, or treatment. Nothing in the Service should be interpreted as:
FODMAP, ingredient, or nutrition information presented in the app is general in nature. It may not be suitable for your specific medical condition, sensitivities, or intolerances. You should always:

Some features of the Service may only be available through a paid subscription or other in-app purchases (collectively, "Paid Services"). Paid Services may be processed by third-party platforms such as the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and managed through services such as RevenueCat.

We may change the prices or features of Paid Services from time to time. If we make material changes or price increases, we will provide notice in accordance with app store rules or applicable law. Changes will usually take effect from your next billing period or as otherwise described in the notice.
Purchases made via the app are processed through third-party payment providers and app stores. Their terms, conditions, and privacy policies will apply in addition to these Terms. We do not control these third parties and are not responsible for their systems, charges, or decisions (including those about refunds or chargebacks).
The Service, including its content, features, design, databases, models, text, graphics, logos, icons, images, and software, is owned by or licensed to Belio: FODMAP Scanner and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the app on your personal device solely for your own non-commercial use.

"Belio", "Belio FODMAP", "Belio: FODMAP Scanner" and associated logos are trademarks of Belio: FODMAP Scanner. Other names and logos appearing in the Service may be trademarks of their respective owners.
The Service may allow you to submit or store content, such as custom foods, notes, favorites, feedback, or other information ("User Content").
You retain ownership of your User Content. However, by submitting User Content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, host, store, reproduce, modify, adapt, and create derivative works from your User Content as necessary to provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Service. Where reasonably possible, we may use User Content in aggregated or de-identified form.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify you, for example by displaying a notice in the app, sending a message, or updating the "Last updated" date at the top of these Terms. The updated Terms will apply from the date they are posted or as otherwise stated in the notice.
If you continue to use the Service after the updated Terms take effect, you are deemed to have accepted them. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the Service and, if applicable, cancel any Paid Services.
You may stop using the Service at any time.
You can request deletion of your account or personal data by contacting us at hi@belio.app, subject to our obligations to retain certain data as described in the Privacy Policy.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service (in whole or in part) if we reasonably believe that you:

Mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence may give you certain rights which cannot be limited by contract, including the right to bring claims in the courts of your usual place of residence. Nothing in these Terms limits those rights.
To the extent such laws do not specify otherwise, these Terms and any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be governed by the laws of the country in which Belio: FODMAP Scanner is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Subject to any mandatory rights you may have under local law, you and Belio: FODMAP Scanner agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of that country.
